Instead of falling into the trap of the overly touristy and poorly stocked café at Armadale Castle, treat yourself to a break at this lovely little spot. A little café right by the roadside in Armadale, run by two very kind and welcoming people. The interior is cozy, nicely decorated, and has a warm, homely feel. The hot salmon bagel and the prawn salad baguette were absolutely delicious…wis we had more time to try their homemade cakes too! A small, unexpected gem on the Skye coast definitely worth a stop.

Stumbled across this place by pure luck, but is truly a hidden gem. Retro and cosy vibes in the interior, and the food (soup) was delicious! Highly recommend.

Go down the single track road to Ardvasar to find this amazing wee gem! Welcoming and excellent service in a small but cozy space and absolutely delicious food. Can highly recommend the coronation chicken sandwich, goat cheese on sourdough, beetroot and sweet potato soup, and sticky toffee pudding! Based on the quality of what we had, everything on the menu is sure to be tasty with generous portions and at a good price. Go beyond Armadale Castle and the ferry terminal and you'll be very glad you did!

The food was amazing at this little cafe. The kids loved the smoothies and the tea and goat cheese, pesto and tomatos on sourdough was the best thing I ate on the entire trip.....there was plenty of good food on the trip.
